If you've got a Sea Sprite 23, Kittiwake, CD 22 or other smaller Alberg hull and want to move up - let's talk.

I'd like to sell her before the end of the season.

I took a few pictures last night when I went out to batten down the hatches for Earl this weekend...

Wish absolutely the best for you and SEA GLASS.
She is a beauty.
Hope you are in good spirits too!

You must realize that after 6 years of major participation in this Forum here
you are family!
And from my standpoint this turn of events is unacceptable.:(

Thank you kindly, Ebb.  At the end of the season, it will be time to either turn the page, or time to begin major refit, Phase 2...

It's all good.  :)

Hey Mike,  Sorry to hear about your engine. Before you label it as not running try this, You have heard of PB Blaster, a spray penetrating oil for frozen fastners haven't you? Well they make a product to spray in combustion chambers to clean up carbon. Follow the instructions on the can and spray the whole can in there. I would turn the engine over slowly by hand while spraying , since yours is a diesel spray in the air intake  and let it soak over night. If there is any hope for your diesel this will breath new life into it. I think you simply have sticking piston rings and carbon sticking valves. Good Luck.
Don't discount the Electra 22.5 on your short list,  great sailor and trailerable

Thanks for the tip Carl. I've been on the PB Blaster site trying to figure out which product you're talking about: http://www.blastercorporation.com/PB_Blaster.html

The only spray product that sounds right looks to be the "Lawn Mower Tune-up"? Is that the one you're talking about?  The "Trans Valve Fix" sounds like it would be a good product as well.

Mike, Yes It's the lawn mower tune up. Another great product is the SEA FOAM I mention earlier.

That's a crying shame the engine crapped out Mike. I'm sure things will work out.

She's a gorgeous boat

Ariel 414 is no longer for sale. I cleared a spot beside the garage so I can store her for free as long as I need to.

Sorry - looks like you guys are stuck with me.

Here she is waiting to be hauled next week. My buddy and I had fun sailing into the marina without an engine.

PS. Bill, I wouldn't mind at all if you were to remove this blight of a thread so my moment of weakness can bcome just a distant memory.

Congratulations, Mike!  Never wanted that sale to happen myself.  Can only imagine how you must have felt.
My home has a keel.
