I bought #19 in June and have been renovating her.  It's an ideal boat for the gusty summer winds here in the bay and I'm sailing as often as possible!

Here are some before / after shots...
This first one is the cabin re-painted, re-upholstered and wired.  I've replaced the windows with stained glass (the front have red / green glass in case the nav. lights cut out...just turn on the cabin lights!)

The Galley...

I replaced the old ice-box with some drawers and put a fridge and potable water in the starboard cabinet

New paint and sand based non-skid.  The wood still needs to be re-done. (the door has a stained glass center and accordian-folds into 3 sections (the upper and lower fold in to protect the glass)

Here's the glass from outside with the cabin light on

My wife took this shot yesterday.  I don't know how I've made it so many years without an auto-pilot

Hey Mike, nice work.  :)   Who does your stained glass?

minksf

Thanks... I did all the renovations, including the upholstery and glass.

Looks great!

In every boat's life, there are cycles of ebb and flow.  It looks like the tide has come in for Commander #19!

  Great job!

All that. Mike,
and weave yer own hats and roll maestros too? :D

minksf

Hat weaving may be a better hobby... less of a time/money commitment.
