"Solidare" 1965. $3500.  ProFurl roller reefing, 6 hp Johnson outboard.  Recent headstay, back stay, seacocks.  Set up for single handed sailing; all lines aft, new lazy jacks.  Boat in Fortman Marina, Alameda CA.  Contact Richard Pearson (925) 372-3525.

These are current pictures showing roller furler.  Have bought new boat (Islander 28); need to sell this one.

Interior pictures attached.  Note that bolt heads on the bulkhead are from previous owner bolting a large steel plate to the forward side to stop sag under mast step.  Not pretty, but effective.

Just noticed this ad in Craigslist:
I actually saw 'Solidare' on the hard at a yard while she was getting a (nice) bottom job last year. She had a few projects taken care of and looked well looked after and seemed to have an eager new skipper (I did not meet him). I wonder what happened...

Here's a classic plastic full keel Carl Alberg design Ariel Pearson sailboat. Galley has sink & water tank but no stove.

Work Done
· Replaced turn buckles, installed Marelon seacocks (no metal below water line except lower rudder fitting) (2005)
· Removed icebox.
· Purchased 2003 Pro Furl roller reefing with 2003 headstay, and recent working jib. (2005)
· Installed lazy jacks and new back stay (2005)
· Bottom paint (2010)
· Completed some upgrades recomended by Ariel - Commander Yacht Association (http://www.pearsonariel.org): (1) beefed up bulkhead supporting mast, (2) beefed up backstay attachment to stern (date?)
· New cushions (2010)
· Newly fabricated stainless tiller-rudder post hardware
· 1 stay replaced and overall rigging checked by Vallejo yard

Inventory
· New 6hp 4cyl outboard (2010)
· 2 jib, main and spinnaker
· VHF
· Two danforth anchors

I will sell for $5000 without outboard
