A friend of mine has a machine shop and wasn't happy with the results he got with more pricey equipment, beware .

Not only will Caswell sell you a powder coating 'kit',  they'll sell you an anodizing kit as well.  And a chroming, nickle-plating kit.  Notice with the p.c. kit you are only getting the front end of the horse - you supply yer own oven.  Even Monster Garage sends their stuff out.

At some point in your life, in a well appointed shop, you may want to cast the baby's shoes in pot metal and try chroming them.

(OOPS, Caswell has the ovens for between $6000 and $12000, not including the shipping.) :cool:

I assume you could powdercoat the deck hardware, etc.?  Anyone done that?  

I need to get off my duff and call the local Harley shop to check on prices.   Sounds interesting...

The previous PO on my boat painted the deck hardware silver!  A poor man's chrome plating perhaps?
