I will now be the second crazy person (Frank being the first) to sell my "dream boat" on this forum, as I try to liquidate 3 ( a Whaler and a ComboCat are also for sale) to buy the next dream, a custom made 35' foot three masted wooden ketch.

Most on here are familiar with Revival's history. Feel free to use the search
to see countless pictures and description. Needless to say it is a great boat, I have sailed it out of Key West for the past 6 months.

Call with any questions, 813-541-5645.

Thanks, Howard.

Poor boat, nobody wants her . . .

Holy smokes! Howard, have you sold you other Ariel yet? :D

Frank, here's your chance. Dump that sluggish Flicka and win back your first love!

No offense intended. Who said the dreams come easy? When you find the dream, you gotta go for it.

None taken certainly. That remark was actually directed at tha3rdMan,
but you are right about the other part.

I saw "Revival" on EBay either last week or the week before. Anyone know if she sold? The reserve price was $5k...

saw this on Craig's List last night:

presume it's the same craft and it is a bee-you-tee

From the craigslist ad: "Will consider trade for deck/pontoon boat w trailer."

Howard, what happened to the "custom made 35' foot three masted wooden ketch" dream boat?

Poor Revival.

that pontoon trade proposal should draw a censure, perhaps the first ever in the history of he pearsonariel.org

Howard

Lads,
A buddy wants a pontoon for island hopping and has cash, so....

I have got a line on a Potter for daysailing (in addition to my cat). I am not leaving my crusty bretheren for the dark side. (Although there is this boat club that has started at my marina....):D
Still hoping to land the ketch (pun intended), but time may work against me.
Revival is getting a lot of looks, and a few lowball/wacky trade offers, but is still up. Will try through June then move her here if nothing happens. Could be worse.

mbd

Whew! Thanks for filling us in. I was about to lead the charge to come down there and have you keelhauled!  :p

It is simply amazing that no one has snapped her up! Revival has got to be the deal of the century!

Why such a small price for such a grand lady?  Comparing Revival to Sirocco and a couple other boats I've looked at, and a certain knowledge of these things; Revival should fetch about ten to ten-five (with all of the electronics out of her) in your area.

unfortunately...Florida has historically had lower boat prices, do I assume to the extreme abundance of used boats. Take her to MA and the price would go up a lot.I'd agree on 'deal of the century'. ..while not perfect...Revival represents a GREAT value. The dodger, new main cover and sunshade were over $2000 alone !!
