wood spinnaker pole

Having recently put comander #272 back in the water  after  a total refitt I want to add some more sails, mast  has a track and eye for spinnaker, but no pole  , my question is did thre comander/Ariel, originally come with a wood pole? if not what is the right pole for these boats.

I'm using a pole from a J-22 (a couple inches short of the maximum allowed). If you race PHRF you will be allowed the same length as your J (9.5') for the pole length.

#50 had the original wooden pole...nice piece.Maybe Adam wood (pun) part with it $$??

I'm not going to part with the pole, sorry. I'm actually looking forward to learning to use the spinnaker. I've only sailed with one once, in almost 30 years of sailing!

Also, any advice on using the spinnaker (or useful links) would be appreciated

I'd like some details about that wooden pole.  What kind of wood was it made from?  What diameter  was the pole?  I have two whisker pole end fittings made in Australia that I'd like to use for a pole on my Commander.

See page 172 in the manual.  It has the measurements for all of Pearson's poles from that era.  Sitka Spruce is the material.
