I sold a 1963 Pearson Ariel a while ago. I just ran across the plug for the outboard engine hole. Many people don't know it, but the Ariel was manufactured with a fiberglass plug that fits in the well where the outboard engine goes. I have the original one that went with the boat. Reply to this thread if you have an interest in it.  The selling price is $100.

Bogle, Mike Goodwin who lives down the street from me said he will be making some plugs for Ariels and Commanders. I just sent off the check for the plug. A mold could be made from it.

Sounds good.  I'm sure there are others interested.  Keep us posted and thanks for letting me know the status.
