Todd Olsen and Ariel 338 'Sun Quest'

Does anyone remember racing or sailing on San Francisco Bay with Dr Todd in the 1990s?

The boat had an unusual rectangular rudder NOT designed by Alberg.

I'm wondering if the Ariel had any unusal traits - especially on certain points of sail?

Has anyone kept in touch with him?
