Corecell A500 Planking

Has anyone used corecell A500 planking instead of wood frames.
and does anyone how many pounds per square inch they
could take. I have to work on replacing planking and framing of the wall.
Could it take that weight?

Dang!  I ran across a guy's site where everything was corecell, even horizontals,  maybe even the face frames.  It was a gutted 25' from the 70's.  I'll look to see if I made hard copies.  Maybe a combo of marine ply and the foam core sheet would work out pretty good.   What's the 'bread' of the A500 sandwich???

I checked and discovered A500 is all foam, no skin.  About $185 retail 4X8 1/2" sheet.  It's not a stand alone material.  Should be perfect for deck recoring.  The guy above was using a sandwich material that may have had a phenolic or formica type surface, hard and thin.

Go to Noah's marine supply it is  $15.48 for core cell they have a surplus
of 48"X23

I was thinking of using polyester and mat rather than installing wood. The Polyester and mat would be the bread and the core cell would be the
ham and cheese.  Doing the layup outside the boat and then installing
it like frames.
