Anyone know of an Ariel on the Sassafras River in Maryland ?

A few weeks ago I saw a stripped-for-the-winter looking sailboat which looked exactly like an Ariel to me.  Docked at Gregg Neck Boat Yard on the Sassafras River in Maryland with a half-off brown tarp flapping in the wind.  Where the oval # plate should have been there was a hole cut into the lazarette and the tide was too low for me to easily climb down to look for other markings.

Anybody know of it?  Own it?  

I asked someone there on a small ketch a few slips away but his only comment was:  "Oh;  that guy doesn't come down very much."

One of the yard monkeys told me that the halyard on the maybe-Ariel had jammed, was repaired in some way, and then jammed again.  That was all he knew about the boat.
