Anyone know if removal of mast step support tube in cabin and replacing it with a cross beam under the cabin top could be done.

Seems to me with mini bulkheads in place of the current half height ones tying it into a steel cross beam fitted under the cabin top below the mast step could work.

You cut down the passage way into the V berth a bit but eliminate the bar in the middle.?

Could you post approx cost. Might be nice to put in new depending on how much work and cost involved. How easy is t do take out old and put in new anyway?

does anyone have the original measuremtns of the handrails for the commander. We are going to see about having some fabricated but are unsure of original size, how many loops 3 or 4 etc.

44" long three loops. We cant find this size at local stores.

I have sanded the hull and do not plan on painting it until spring. It is down to the original gel coat. If covered well, is there any reason why I should have to seal it for the winter?

Does anyone have dimensions for distance between fore and aft posts, and width between posts that would be appropriate for a yard cradle for winter storage. I am modifying a yard trailer to hold a commander. Thank you, Brent 203-245-2102
