I used to see him out on the Great South Bay.   I have not seen him for years but I saw his boat GRACE on the hard last year, in the marina just south of the Fire Island Ferries in Bay Shore It is not there this year

the bracket that connects my tiller to the rudder stock sheered off anyone know where I can get a replacement ?

If you look at my May 8, 2011 post you will see photos of Francine's long jib tracks mounted on the rail.  They are aluminum send I am very happy with them I got them from Gauhauer.  The yard ninstalled them was not a big deal.

I have the standard 4 stroke 6HP Nissan Mercury outboard.  I would like to mount a single lever engine throttle / control in the cockpit, but the standard controls are very plastic / modern looking and it would be like painting a mustache on the Mona Lisa.  Does anyone know of any classic looking chrome or bronze single lever controls that would work.   I am in a tight slip and it would be very helpful to have the controls

The other advantage is that the traveler, can be quickly and easily dumped in case things get hairy.  I installed a traveler on the stern and am very happy with it

I took FRANCINE Commander 131 out of the water a week ago, from Fire Island a barrier beach of of Long Island NY.   She was placed on the hard.   Yesterday we were looking at a news video shot in front of my marina, it was literally a rushing river.  I was sure FRANCINE woudl be knocked over.  Happy to report that I had a relative go down and inspect.  She said the town is a disater but FRANCINE is up right and doing well.  My taughts and prayers with all those on shores of NY and NJ total devestation

I was walking to town and saw an advertisement for an art show.   I was pleasantly surprised to see Francine on the advertisement to the show.   I was going to contact the photographer to get a print but was told my daughters are already working on that for dad's birthday present.
