those are some great pictures of #105 who ever did the work did a nice job of it.what i would like to know is what type of boat is #45, and where is it? i have commander #56 and when my restoration is complete i would like to sail arround and see other commanders and ariels.

i'll do that when i get back from my honeymoon, i'm getting married this week end on the queen mary, then were sailing the chanel islands for 3weeks and my commander is ready for the trip!

what i would like is to hear from people down here in socal about there boats and sailing adventures, i have a commander(#56) and would like to do a raft up or something, and get the socal pearsons to gether.

there are 2 places that i know of, both in newport beach ca.
1. matrix marine
2. seaspray boat yard

they both specialize in very old boats, and restorations.

if you would like, i can send drawings and photos of the original stern rails for a commander. they are not only good looking but fairly easy to have made.(there are only 2 bends to make)
