Thanks for the update  Jon,seem like you have been very busy.
The decal was from Boat US graphics,I think West Marine does them too.

Technical / Gas mileage

With my Atomic 4 I set the cruise power at 1200 RPMs(using about 9 horse power of the engine ) which gives me full hull speed in most conditions. At this setting Sirocco burns less than 1/2 a gallon an hour and thats with charging batteries. But the engine was over hauled in 92.

A Trition owner ,Dave Hoyt took this picture Friday morning at 9 am after the hurricane went thru. The tide seems to be closer to 8 feet than 6.Luckily we had winds of only 50 knotts or so,unlike further south.

Technical / Anchor roller
September 26, 2003, 10:05:31 AM
On Sirocco I have a simple anchor roller,a Windline model AR-3.It is thru bolted with 3-3/8 inch bolts with a 1/4 inch aluminium backing plate. This is used only for anchoring not for storage. You need to decide if you want to store an anchor on it or just use it for anchoring and then go from there.

I wasnt there but Im told that the water was to the top of the pilings.Sirocco didnt get as much as a scratch, even the Hunters were unharmed. The boards behind my truck show how high the water got. This was the third hurricane that I have had to deal with since Ive owned Sirocco.

Annapolis had a storm surge of 6 feet,I went down on Tuesday and got Sirocco ready.I took off the sails and awning and slacked up my dock lines.I use over sized dock lines 5/8 all the time unlike some boats around me that use line the size of shoe strings.I checked on things this morning 9/21/03 and you would have never known anything had happened.I couldnt find any damage on any boat or piers.

Bill
My forward ports on Sirocco are Beckson #PO410-WS-10 .They are a 4 inch x 10 inch opening port. The only thing I had to do was make the holes bigger to fit. They are thru bolted and very strong and have never leaked in 12 seasons.I would of went bigger but I dont think they would fit. Most people on this board dont like them but I do,if not I would of changed them long ago.
