Title: Cheap Electronics Mount
Post by: Hull376 on November 28, 2003, 02:40:28 PM
Saw this idea in a back issue of either Sail or Good Old Boat, and tried it.  Used scrap mahogany left over from coaming boards project and some unused stainless hinges. Only bought the two cupboard locks that are mounted on the bottom of the  c-way.  They work well--- get the stuff you want to see right in front of you, but can swing them out of the way very quickly.  And ebb, kinda gives the boat a "French cottage" shuttered look, don't you think? Maybe some wine instead of the usual beers?

Good idea on the french doors, wish I thought of that.

I used an old broken brass lamp to mount my fishfinder/depthsounder.
