Title: RIP Ariel #242 "Harp"

OBITUARY:
Pearson Ariel #242 "Harp" sank in Beaufort NC succumbing to damages sustained by Hurricane Florence and is scheduled to be scrapped in the coming weeks.

She spent the majority of her life sailing the waters of Bogue Banks, In her later life was a Sea Scout Ship, and spent her final years moored in Taylor's Creek Beaufort NC. In 2014, a few weeks after a haulout she suffered severe deck damage in a tangle with a loose boat during Hurricane Arthur. This damage ultimately led to her sinking from rainwater intrusion when the bilge failed during Hurricane Florence.





She will be missed. :(

I still have near-mint set of cushions: hunter green w/ white piping, and a set of older but very useable hank-on headsails if anyone is interested.

Would the cushions fit a Commander?

I'm not sure, but someone on here should know. If they do fit, they are located in Beaufort NC.
