Has anyone ever tried replacing the Commander hatchway boards with a door? Wondering how it worked out. Suspect it would look better but at what cost?
Wondering if other Commander owners have one of the hatchway boards cut out with a small screen inserted as I do? Is so do you find it lets rain in and did you replace it? Cover it in some way. Worried during a driving rain it may soak things down below.
Just saw this thread. Lucky Dawg came with this one. There is screen on the inside. I've never left it in for anything but this picture. Same concerns as you re driving rain. I can post detailed pix if you'd like.
