My wife and I took a cruise to Bermuda this past week, and while on a kayak excursion, we saw this old girl.

According to the latest newsletter, there is an Ariel, #385, in Southampton, but this Commander was in St. George (other end of the islands).

This was as close as we could get, and we did not see the stern, so I have no other details about her.

#45 made a trip to Bermuda under the former owner back in the mid 90's . I believe he did a round trip from ChesBay .

Then perhaps this lady is not native to Bermuda?

Nice knowing that though; I've suggested to my wife that we take #66 to Bermuda, but she isn't too keen on the idea.

Not yet, at least ;)

I made the trip 30 years ago in a boat only 2 feet longer than the Ariel , was quite exciting to say the least .
Would do it again if I was 20 or 30 years younger , hell I'd take 10 years and be happy .
