I purchased #9 just over a year ago, and was somewhat surprised to find out there was such a fan club for these wonderful sailboats, though having cruised her extensively last year in Penobscott bay I can fully understand why.
I have over the course of the winter purchased another boat and therefor would like to find her a good home, the ad, however, should have priced her at $5500, not $6500. She can be viewed in Rockport ME, and yes, I did rename her #9 (after her hull number and it was my ninth boat).
Everything that makes her move, rigging, sails, roller furling, stainless stanchions and life lines, are less than 3 years old. The 6 hp Nissen purchased last May has not been run in yet. Hope that helps, Ian Baston
