Hello All,
I'm looking at buying the Commander that is listed for sale on the SF Bay craigslist right now, and was wondering how active the SF Fleet is. I saw that at one time there were 10 - 12 fleet races per year. Is that still going on? Also, the hull # of the boat I'm looking at is 89. If anybody knows any history on the boat, I'd love to hear about it. I used to own a 1979 Pearson 26OD, so I'm partial to pearsons, and I'm pretty sure I'd like to pick this thing up. It needs love, but don't they all? I'm looking forward to hearing back from the group, and possibly becoming a P26 owner again.

The date is fast approaching for the annual ACYA gathering on SF Bay. Yes, it's time for the Hoppe Fun Regatta, a race around Angel Island, followed by a gathering at one of the local yacht clubs.
Tentative date is Saturday, June 13. A seperate Hoppe thread will be posted in early May. Check your calendars and plan to join us for some great fun.
