I am trying to get a trailer built for my 1964 Commander, hull number 273. I already have a galvanized tandem axle trailer.
I need to know the dimensions, quantity and location for the screw pads (hull support struts)?
What percentage of the boats total weight can the keel support?

How about some pictures!
The keel should bear the great majority of the load (95%) as it is where the greatest mass is located.
The bunks/pads should only serve to maintain lateral stability - not really bear a significant portion of the load.
You will not get very far if you try to dangle the 2,500# lead keel pig from small supports bearing on the Fiberglass hull!

I assume the Commander is a recent acquisition (?) If so; Congratulations! I am in the process of a restoration myself and have some pictures and other info in that thread.
Here is the info I used to select a borrowed trailer for transport and build a new cradle for storage.
The stations are in feet from the bow moving aft.
The height is measured 24" outboard of the centerline from the bottom of the keel
I built my stanchions @ sta 9.75, 13 & 19.5
