I spent the day cleaning up the forepeak and putting in a new deck .

That was at 11 am , this is 6pm .
It is 1/2" solid mahogany and maple , had it laying about and not enough teak and holly ,& didn't want it said I copied Steve's boat ;>)
Each piece represents at least 4 to 10 trips from hands and knees in the forepeak to standing on the dock to cut , shape , plane or sand .
What a workout !
It still needs to be filled and sanded , then several coats of McLoskey's Gym Seal varnish ( it does not slip when wet ).
The sole in the forepeak is not symetrical by the way , no surprise there !
