Title: Holiday 30???
Post by: tha3rdman on May 01, 2007, 06:58:52 AM
Theres a boat that claims to be a Holiday 30 in the yard here in HDG, I havent ventured aboard her . . yet, it's one of those that if you start paying storage its yours. She's beautiful, lines identical to the Ariel, full keel, stunning she is. However I cant find any information other then it's likely it was built by Holiday Industries in Michigan. I figured there is quite a few "seasoned" individuals here that might have run across her sisters. Any information would be stupendous.

Thanks
Paul

We havent offically named her anything, we were tring out names, first was absum (latin for "I'm outa here") then it was Pandora, but I really think Bonnie Jean is a nice name for a classy boat, now as for the broad thats another story (not really i like my in-law). Indecisive I know, when the name goes up on 97 it'll be official and unwaivering. Right now she has the sheen or 60 grit and vinlys (or paint if the allmighty one breaks out the airbrush) is off in the distance, not quite over the horizon it is insight.

Dunno about appropracy (sp), but my little wavering amonst names, is nothing to the shame put forth onto her by her pervious owners, between III C's, and the sanding revealed "Debit". I think she'll be happy with which ever name given.

But back to the question at hand, the Holiday.
