Nice Jan/Feb issue of Small Craft Advisor (http://www.smallcraftadvisor.com/). Our very own ex-Arielite, Mr. Frank Durant, found his way into the mag a few of times: a letter to the editor, an article of a Montgomery owners group trip out to the Chesapeake last year (he joined them with his SunCat), and even a picture of him sailing off in his SunCat - "Hot Tub". Now he's writing us forum messages from the Bahamas! The man puts his money where his mouth is when he says "just do it" - go Frank!
However... I saw no mention, anywhere, that he had previously owned an Ariel! Eh hem!
Humm do I smell a posse gathering?
OK OK OK.....'revival' was/is a GREAT boat!!!!!!!!!!!! Be like the 'old girlfriend ya always wonder about'...I'll make sure to mention her next time;)
PS...I'm in Manitee Pocket near Stuart Florida. Was crossing the gulf stream motorsailing and picked up saltwater. JUST got it fixed 10min ago!!!!!!!!!! New injector pump and rebuilt injector. (all GOOD lessons are expensive) Did the tear down/put back together myself.Great to learn new things AND work on my 4 letter vocabulary too!! West Palm tomorrow...nice easy beam reach across the stream on wed. I'll send a pic from Bahamas soon......"islands in the sun"...was'nt there a song about that???? COME ON EBB...ya gotta join me soon...it's LONELY out there :D
To heck with Time Magazine!

Naw....how about president of the 'old grey haired f_rts club'
I made a rough passage to the Bahamas yesterday. While checking in, I noticed this rather odd 'dingy' a sportfisherman was towing :D
Nothing from Frank in the latest issue
A good read anyway
Of course you picked up a copy with a Melonseed on the cover. Yours is blue though, isn't it?
She's black. Pirate black. Black like my heart. The demon seed.
Sorry. Haven't sailed in 4 months. I am not well.
