Title: Trailer or cradle for sale??
Post by: joe on August 22, 2006, 03:59:00 PM
Does anyone have a trailer or cradle for an Ariel for sale?  Preferably somewhere east of a line from Dallas to Chicago.

Hey Joe,
Use the search function or try this thread: http://pearsonariel.org/discussion/showthread.php?t=304&highlight=trailer.  A couple nice photos of a home-made version and links to new ones and lots of thoughts on the subject.  I don't see in there where Tony G ever posted his actual plans to the forum.

Plans for a cradle are in the appendix to the manual - you may be able to guesstimate your measurements from there.

I am a social worker for a living, so such guesstimation is probably not my strong point.

The only problem is I don't have a manual because I'm not getting the boat for another two weeks or so.  I wonder if anyone might let me rent their Ariel cradle or trailer for a week or week and a half??  or maybe fax to me a copy of the plans??
Title: P-26 / Ariel

I found a guy who has a P-26 trailer, If I'm not mistaken, the draft is actually about the same.  I wonder just how close it is and how difficult it may be to alter.  It has heavy weight axles and electric brakes.  I would appreciate any input on this that any of you might have???
