Title: Atomic 4 rust prevention?
Post by: tha3rdman on April 28, 2006, 06:32:03 AM
I did a search and came up empty handed aside from finding the discussion you all had about III C's, here nor there, I was wondering if there was an acceptable "water displacement" (ie. WD-40) that I could spray on the engine to put off painting it for another season or two.

Title: I've used wd-40 when winterizing my motorcycle

I've used wd-40 to winterize my motorcycle up in Michigan with great success.  Did a very good job of keeping rust off.  In the spring, I just gave it a wipe to take off the excess.

Have you asked Moyer Marine?  Supposed to be the A-4 experts.  //www.moyermarine.com  410-810-8920
Title: Ospho

Ospho would do a better job , then spray with a CRC version of WD-40 , WD evaporates too soon and doesn't leave much behind.
