Title: #66 pics
Post by: frank durant on April 07, 2006, 09:36:43 AM
Thought I'd post a few 'before' pics of #66. Went to see her last night. The interior is basically solid with the existing bulkheads 'sound'.In this state , I told Chris  he had the option of ANY arrangment he wanted and suggested he and his wife sit there , have a coffee and let their imaginations run wild. The hull has many holes drilled in the keel to let water escape...better than stagnant water sitting !!.The decks have multiple ereas of serious delamination. The rudder is in need of a rebuild. All in all....not a bit unlike what many have started with.I love seeing one of these 'come back to life'  They ARE such beautiful , great sailing boats !! I hope Chris keeps us posted.

There is EXELLENT info right here on recoring decks. If anyone has ideas on interior design, a line on winches (missing one),thoughts on his rudder or words of encouragement,I'm sure Chris welcomes them.
